Why our are puppies and toy breeds/ pure breeds so much higher of an adoption fee?
We are a rescue that specializes in “harder to place dogs” aka heart worm positives, “pitbulls”, diabetic, seniors, you name it.
So, instead of being a rescue that only accepts “easy to adopt dogs” we balance out our hard to adopt doggies aka our very costly doggies with higher adoption prices for the “easy to adopt dogs”
While our number 1 choice would be for you to consider adopting one of the “harder to adopt doggies” we understand that those adopters are a dime a dozen. So while you May be taken back by our higher adoption prices for easily adoptables; I hope you find peace in knowing that while you are paying a higher adoption cost, you are in return helping a dog like Jackie- our $850 a month dog for her diabetic costs.
Ariel-in training now $1,000. Tesla who’s surgery was $5,200. In order to keep saving animals we have to balance.
We do offer discounts on our “easily adoptables” if you have ever donated in the past, done a Facebook fundraiser for us, adopted or fostered for us in the past, volunteered. We also offer discounts for military and hometown heroes.
